Castle Fence and Deck LLC | Fence Installation

I am so impressed with the work done by Castle Fence and Deck and Brent Mittlestaedt. First, he is very easy to work with and responds quickly to questions. Many companies only install certain brands or types of fences. Brent was flexible and willing to install any type. In addition, he offered an other option at a greatly reduced price! The installation was smooth and easy. They have all the power equipment needed to do the job. They worked straight thru, even though it was pouring rain some of the time. Brent and Russell took great care to ensure everything was measured correctly and that no property was damaged. Their prices are competitive and I would highly recommend them!

We had a deadline. No call, no show three times. I asked Brent to come to the house to look over the job, his only communication was through text before completing the job. The deck was not what we wanted and was pre-built incorrectly. Horrible experience.

I can’t praise Brent Mittelstaedt of Castle Fence & Deck enough. He removed several old fences (chain link and broken wood), designed and installed a new fence with a gate, and built a handicapped accessible deck with two entries/stairs. Brent’s work is beautiful, meticulous, and, well, perfect! He takes great pride in doing excellent work and meeting all building code requirements. He does everything right, “by the book,” so that it will last. We were astonished by his remarkable work ethic. He worked many long, hard days and seemed never to take breaks. He even worked during storms if it suited the project. He was great about communicating, and I always knew when he was coming/going and what was occurring with the project. Through absolutely no fault of his own, we ran into several layers of difficulty with the city powers that be in terms of approving the project. He engaged in countless phone conversations/meetings with them to resolve the issue (incorrect property lines) and never charged us a dime or complained about it. The city inspectors praised his superb work, and of course the final version passed with flying colors. Brent’s ethics are impeccable, and I trusted his judgment on all matters related to construction without question. He is extremely bright and has a wealth of experience and knowledge. He’s an outstanding, upstanding young man, and I recommend him without reservations for any home remodeling project. I would hire him again in an instant.
